I understood this could happen but I didn't think about it happening to me. I changed from Prozac to Paxil about six months ago due to the therapists recommendation. Now, I could care less about sex. This isn't normal for me or for my wife. She is getting frustrated with me and honestly, I couldn't care less at this point if I were to become a monk. Is this a side effect of the Paxil? Can they change me back to the Prozac without trouble? I've heard the transition to something else from Paxil can be quite difficult. I need advice guys.

 It is very normal every medicine has side effects and specially depressants have more side effects than any other side effects

If you are taking medicine under medical supervision then there is no need of worrying this side effect.  The patient who are taking

paxil can have these following side effects like Anxiety,constipation; decreased sexual desire or ability, stomach upset, trouble concentrating,

trouble sleeping; weakness etc.so dont woory about that and if it persisist for long time then consult with your doctor that is a best solution.

Agreed, that you should use viagra ot someting like that with the help of doctor, and keep your health in safe manners and this will fix the problem, all right. And really every medicine have side effects too so becareful before taking any kind of serious medicine, take a consultaion.
