Dear All
I am a mster student and finished my practical part….
I began writing my chapters….. but all of obstacles appeared….. first, my mentor was encouraging me then by the time she made me being shocked by her heavy words….. also, I finished my literature review chapter, but when she took a look on it, she said that it was a mess….. what damn that written chapter….. and she didn't even direct me which parts need to be altered or should have more details….. finally, I got a deep depression…
I tried to put a new frame for my work…. but I am afraid of her commments…. so when I put a good frame and started writing again, I found myself being stopped and threw away this frame and tried to start over again…… but this made me lost hope in finishing this thesis …..
really, I need some help…. how to organize my thoughts…. how to build a good frame without hesitation….. how to be more motivated about such a thesis …..
Thanks for reading my post and I hope if there is anybody cares about that…..

First off I'd like to say don't be so down on your self. Obviously you have put in a lot of hard work or you never would have made it this far. I would suggest asking your mentor where the problems were or, better yet, get a second opinion. Just because your mentor wasn't happy with it doesn't mean others won't bel. What she gave you was an opinion nothing more, not even a constructive one. Don't let her define you.

fatmaelzahraa,
Olivias Changing has a good point. Don't let your mentor define you. Maybe she was just trying to psywar you and testing your abilites if you really can do it. It's a matter of taking it as a challenge on your part. Use it as your own advantage and do not allow fears excel inside your mind. Like what olivia advised, maybe it's best if you could ask her where the problems were or get a second opinion. That way, you would know your shortcomings and as to what part you should improve on your work. Stay positive and keep it up.

OneFoot,
It means to make the opponent less confident or a psychological means to influence or confuse the thinking of a person. It can also a form of intimidation that may causes fear or anxiety to the person involved.

I am sorry to hear that a teacher is behaving in a manner that is unbecoming to their profession.

Shining Light thank you. psychological warfare I see. If its not to challenge a student to try harder it is sad to think a mentor. person of respect would use such tactics. I have never been able to comprehend it. but per haps we put people in those positions on a pedestal dan forget they are human with flaws too.
